The author of The Little Seagull Handbook 3rd Edition
The author of The Little Seagull Handbook 3rd Edition set out to create a book that would offer assistance to college students with the types of writing they are assigned to do, while also being as user-friendly as possible. It has been a great success for us, and it has been adopted by many instructors who previously used very large handbooks.
Easy To Use
Their satisfaction with our books lies in its “just enough detail,” ease of use, and cost that is less than half of what they previously paid. As teachers, we know students prefer shorter books, and in order to keep the book concise, to paraphrase Elmore Leonard, we left out descriptors they skip and provided what college writers need. It is also important that manuals are easy to use.
